Archery Hunters Wanted
Are you an archery hunter? Are you wanting to upgrade your thrills from deer and elk to something bigger and badder?
My favorite way of hunting is with a bow and arrow. There's several reasons archery hunters choose me to put them into the kill-zone:
1. For the last 27 years, the average kill-shot yardage for the year has been between 11-18 yards.
2. I am an avid archer and PERSONALLY guide all of my guided archery hunters in South Dakota and in my three guide use areas in Alaska. And I am personally involved with my unguided moose hunters'’ prep for their extraordinary unguided Alaska trip with Jim River Guide Service.
3. I provide the names of ALL of my clients from the previous year instead of a hand-picked list of references like my competitors provide. That's a big deal.
4. ARCHERY MULE DEER TAGS REQUIRE NO LOTTERY DRAW IN MY GUIDED AREAS OF SOUTH DAKOTA. I have hunts available.
I find it wonderful that archers can shoot long distances, but my goal is to get them to something less than 20 yards. Besides an excellent success rate on nice trophies, my customers' wound rate is astonishing low. I am proud of that. That's because no matter how confident an archer is that he can make the long shot, my goal is to get them DEEP INTO THE KILL-ZONE. The result is more dead animals retrieved. That's a good thing.
Archery Moose Hunting
I shot my first moose with a bow and arrow on a father/son unguided moose hunt. There were three main reasons I pulled it off:
1. We worked our sack off. The grit and determination hunters brag about using when they hunt...our family push that same grit and determination into EARNING money to go on the hunt.
2. We spent that money we earned before it got moldy and went on the hunt.
3. We had the courage to go.
In today's day and age, people want things easy. It's not just the kids, mind you. Those kids that were raised soft are now grown-ups that are still soft-they just don't see it. The most challenging part of the hunt is often times working hard and smart enough to earn the TIME and MONEY to go! Most hunters don't have the discipline to smash it. That's why YOUR PALS haven't gone. But YOU do have it in YOU...that's all that matters.
